Principal's Message for May 16, 2017

Principal’s Message: David L. Ortiz

General: We continue to have a fabulous school year. Nevertheless, the 4th quarter challenges us with an extremely busy schedule, (e.g., classes, state testing, master scheduling 2017-18, activities, promotion, etc.). It is imperative that our students continue to give their best effort, (i.e., academically, behaviorally). If you need any assistance, please contact the teacher, or caseload counselor or assistant principal. It is essential that we address concerns immediately to address any compromise to achievement and character development.

Testing: Under the incredible leadership of Ms. Carole Nevarez (Assistant Principal N-Z), I want to commend our students and staff for doing a fantastic job during our state testing. Everyone worked very hard to optimize the performance of each student. We will receive our district, school, and individual scores this summer. Remind your child that the test scores are significant as well as grades in identifying placement for subsequent course placement. Questions or comments, please contact your child’s counselor.
